Cartoons and their characters have been good inspiration to sneakerdesign in the past. Remember the "Flintstone" Bigh Highs or "Quagmire" (Family Guy) SB Dunks?
This time Nike brings out a Dunk High "Homer Simpson" edition, held in a simple but powerful colorway. A flashy Voltage Yellow and decent Midnight Blue upper part featuring orange coloured laces and perforated side panels are what what makes this shoe special.
As an homage to one of the most succsessful cartoon characters after Mikey Mouse, we could discuss whether this shoe should have been more special in it's design or not, but at the end of the day, it's still a nice drop.
