The build up to the release of the Nike Air Maxim 1+ has given the hybrid sneaker's a lot of exposure. The kicks are a 2009 update of the classic Air Max 1. The most obvious tech improvement on the sneakers is the Nike Flywire on the side panel, which reduces the weight of the kicks. Besides the sneaker's reduction in weight, they are Nike+ ready to hook up to an iPod.
The kicks have now released and are available in two OG Nike Air Max 1 colorways, at shops such as SNS.
