Three Paris editions of the Nike Air Max LeBron VII artist city series have just been revealed. Two Paris based artists, Wu "Nyno" Yue and Stephane "The Mayor" Ashpool took part in the project.
The three sneaker designs feature colorways that are both inspired by LeBron and the city of Paris. One pair comes in green, which represents LeBron's youth and the youthful energy in Paris. The black represents LeBron's elegance while the red represents his theatrical style of play. Interestingly the red and black colorways also represent the Parisian neighborhood of Pigalle. Pigalle is the section of Paris known for sex shops giving it a seedy vibe. Black represents the dark backstreets while red represents the inviting bright neon lights.
The kicks are constructed in velvet and leather with a mix of graphical prints on the front of each sneaker.
The kicks are now available at Nike Store at Les Halles and the House of Hoops on rue Pierre Lescot, with only 123 pairs available between each shop.
