Street artist Shepard Fairey originally gained fame as the designer behind Obey. Recently Fairey's prominence was elevated to the mainstream with his "Hope" Obama graphic used to support the election of Barack Obama.
Fairey's latest project is a 18" x 24" poster of Michael Jordan in mid flight going towards the rim, produced in layered stencil. The moment of the announcement of the poster coincides with MJ's entry into the basketball hall of fame.
Hopefully, we will see these covering walls in cities around the world very soon.
