2009 is most definitley the year of so called "High Fashion" Sneakers, more aptly known as "High Price" sneakers.
It is argueable who started this trend or if this is just the logical evolution of the sneaker game but as matter of fact we have already seen some of these High Fashion kicks come out this year. (LV x Kanye West, the Raf Simons and so on...)
Paris based Fashion Label Lanvin keeps feeding the markets hunger for these shoes by releasing the Lanvin High Top Trainer Jersey that is made of grey felt on the side panel, beige suede on the toebox, tongue and ankle strap as well as military green/olive leather on the toe tip and heel.
Nice detail is added with the shiny gold lace eyelets.
