With winter season of sneaker releases upon us, we have seen numerous sneakers release with both physical and stylistic enhancements that give a boot like look and feel.
Vans has just released a three pack of the Vans Sk8 Hi in a leather build with metal eyelets. In addition to the metal eyelets and boot like laces the sneakers feature boot like colorways with kicks coming in black, beige and burgundy. The sneakers are now available in Japan at ABC Mart.
The famous Half Cab model from Vans is beeing released in a special run named "White Label Series".
Within this package three differently colored Half Cabs are released. All three are constructed in a suede and leather mix on the upper sitting on the white midsole.
Highlights include perforated suede at the back, waxed laces and not to forget the white Half Cab label on the side.
Available in navy, burgundy, green and black at select Vans retailers and at Vans online.

The collaborative sneaker project between Jahan Loh and Vans will be released in a restricted number of 200 pairs, only in Taiwan.
With its black suede upper combined with patent snakeskin hits and white stitching this sneaker pops. From the images one can easily tell that the base model to start the design from was the Half Cab. The added velcro strap, violet patent tongue, leather laces and embossed pattern towards the heel the Jahan Loh x Vans Mountain Edition Mid is all about detail.
A solid job but too bad they are released in Taiwan only the next days.
At first glance, these Vans Chukkas look very comfortable with their fur inner-lining. While the inside is constructed of soft fur-like material the exterior is made of wool. The kicks, which are part of the California collection are now available in bright red and dark brown in Japan at Essence.
San Francisco based sneaker shop Huf has hooked up with Vans on a three pack of Old Skools. Each sneaker has an upper constructed in canvas, suede and leather in your choice of black, red, blue colorways. The are Huf branded on the toe-box, heel, tongue and insoles. The kicks are scheduled to go on sale on the 17th of October 2009 exclusively at Huf Shops in San Francisco and Los Angeles based shops.
Pro skater Jeff Grosso has hooked up three pairs of Vans sneakers for its fall / winter 2009 collection. Each sneaker is constructed with a mix of leather and suede. The kicks also feature detailing on the inner-sole and tongue.
The Vans Sk8 High comes in green leather with black suede while the two remaining pairs feature black constructions with minimal green accents.
The Vans Sk8 Hi, Vans Sk8 Mid and Vans Era are now available and can be found in the UK at flatspot.
