The Vans Chukka Del Barco has released in several interesting colorways as part of the fall / winter Vans collection. The sneaker, which blends the classic Chukka style with boat shoe look, has now released in two colorways. One comes in brown and the other comes in black. Check your local Vans Vault dealer for availability.

As part of the lines Spring 2010 collection, look for the Vans Buffalo Boot LX. The sneaker's style follows the boot style trend with metal eyelets and boot-like laces. As part of the Vans Vault winter 2009 collection, the exclusive wing of Vans has recruited pro skater Ray Barbee to lay his hand on a series of sneakers to celebrate his time as an artist in the skate culture. Barbee chose the nostalgic route, grouping the Vans Chukka Boot '95 LX, Vans Era '87 LX, and the Vans Old Skool '92 LX. Each sneaker takes on a look from the past in terms of material, color, details, and packaging. Check your Vans Vault dealers for availability.
For all of us that can't get enough of sneakers with with boot-like metal eyelets, Vans will release a pack just for us. The Sierra pack includes two Vans 106 LX with in black and the other in cream. The pack also includes the Vans Chukka LX. Check shops that carry Vans for availability.
Collaborative footwear between artist and sneaker brands is a common today, however Vans has taken art very seriously on its latest release. Robert Williams has hooked up with Vans Vault to create a pair of the Era model. Williams actually painted the canvas used on the sneaker and added the texture to coincide with one of his art pieces. The canvas was then shipped to China where the sneakers were built. The kicks will release on the 31st of October 2009 exclusively at NYC based DQM.

Japanese magazine MAD Ollie has hooked up with Vans to create a pair of Old Skools. The kicks were created to mark the Mad Ollie music festival. The upper is constructed in black in a mix of suede and leather, with white contrast stitching. The kicks midsole is checkered in black and white. The sneakers are now available in Japan at shops that carry Vans footwear.

Vans has a knack for creating sneakers with interesting cartoonish prints, whether they be Monkeys or Elephants. Vans has now teamed up with the Kings of animation, Disney. The Disney Store Japan has styled the Vans Sk8 Hi in black suede on the front of the kicks and the side panels in canvas covered in multi-colored Mickey Mouse silhouettes. The kicks can now be found in at Disney Japan shops.
