Vans 2008 Spring Collection Preview
Vans SK8-Hi + Slip-On x Madsaki

Japanese artist Madsaki was commissioned by Vans and Japanese shop Beams to design a pair of SK8-Hi and a pair of Slip-ons. The kicks feature a devil print along with the great slogan “Act Local, Think Global”, which reminds me of the RZA verse from Justice For All, “F*ck the Local/I move global”.

Vans X Artists x The Simpsons: Detailed Images

This Saturday the 14th of July, The Simpsons x Vans pack will be released at selected sneaker shops in the United States. We have previously shown you teaser images of the sneakers from the pack. However now we have come across some detailed images of every sneaker from the 14 model pack.
Each pair will be limited with only a 100 pairs being available for each sneaker which retail for $100. You can pick the sneakers up at the following locations: Conveyor at Fred Segal (Santa Monica), Supreme (LA), Dave’s Quality Meat (NY) Undefeated (LV), Kicks/HI (Honolulu), Blends (San Diego), Proper (Long Beach), Bodega (Boston), Huf (San Fran), and St. Alfred (Chicago.)

Vans x The Simpsons Movie - Complete Set

Here is a look at the complete set of 14 sneakers that Vans has created for the Simpsons Movie with the help of twelve artists. The sneakers are set to release this coming Saturday the 14th of July at several select locations including the Boston based Bodega, which start selling the sneakers at 11 am. The sneakers will be limited to a hundred pairs produced for each pair with whole sizes available from 8-12 US.
Vans x The Simpsons Movie X McFetridge + Panter

The release date for the Vans x Simpsons is a five days from now, and some more images of the sneakers which will be included in the pack have surfaced. Here we have a pair of Chukka boots designed by Gary Panter and a pair of Era by Geoff McFetridge. All the sneakers from the pack will retail for $100, which include 14 in all kicks.

Vans Simpsons x Futura + Todd Smith

Check out the Vans Sk8 Mid designed by Futura and the Sk8 Hi designed by Todd Smith. Both sneakers are part of the Vans collaboration with underground artist for a series of 14 Simpsons themed sneakers. You can pick up all of the sneakers beginning the 14th of July 2007 at select locations.

Vans Sk8-Hi + Chukkas x Supreme

Vans has been doing a lot of collaborative efforts as of late, and we see another example, this time with the legendary Los Angeles sneaker shop Supreme. The title of the set is Troops and Tomorrow and includes a pair of SK8-Hi and two pair of Chukkas.

Vans Krusty The Clown + Itchy and Scratchy

As previously reported Vans has collaborated with several artists to create a collection of Simpsons themed sneakers for the upcoming Simpsons Movie. Here we have a look at the work of Tony Munoz and Taka Hayashi. Munoz choose Krusty the Clown as his subject for a pair of Vans slip-ons and a Sk8-Hi while Hayashi subject is Itchy and Scratchy on a pair of Sk8-His. The sneakers are set to release on the 14th of July 2007 at a limited run of a hundred pairs a piece. Check these pages for more information on the pack:

Vans Slip-Ons + Sk8’s x Iron Maiden

We recently posted some images of the Nike Dunk High Pro SB Iron Maiden samples, which never actually released. Now we have a look at collection of Iron Maiden themed sneakers produced by Vans. The set includes a pair of Slp-ons and a pair of Sk8’s. The models are limited and are available to purchase at Appartement 16 in Reims, France.

Vans x The Simpsons Movie x Kaws, Neckface + Stash

News recently dropped about an interesting collaborative effort between Sneaker Company Vans and a group of 12 artists to create themed sneakers based upon the iconic cartoon the Simpson’s. Here we have a look at three of the kicks from the collection a pair of Sk8-Mid LX designed by Stash and two pairs of Chukkas, on by Neckface the other by Kaws. In all 14 sneakers will be released on this coming 14th of July. Each pair will be limited with only a 100 pairs being available for each sneaker which retail for $100. We just reported the collaboration between the sneaker company Vans and a team of internationally known artist to create a Simpsons themed sneaker. Now we have a look at the at a Vans slip-on that the collaboration produced by Mr. Cartoon. Look for these to be released on the July 14th.

Vans x The Simpsons Movie

This summer the Simpsons Movie will be released in the United States. To mark the event a promotional collaboration between the iconic skater brand Vans and the Simpsons Movie has been conceived to produce some sneakers. The designers chosen to work on the project reads like an All-Star list with Kaws, Geoff McFetridge, Stash, David Flores, Mr. Cartoon, Neckface, and more. Look for the sneakers to come out on the 14th of July.

Vans x Mr. Cartoon

Mr. Cartoon is a Tattoo artist who has recently collaborated with Vans to produce a series of sneakers. Word has it that these will be available this October 2007.
Vans Slip-Ons x Marc Jacobs

Marc Jacobs has hooked up with Vans to create a line of slip-ons for the summer 2007 season. Look for these around the globe at shops, which carry limited sneakers, plus shops that carry Marc Jacob’s gear.
