“For the Love of God” x Damien Hirst T-Shirt
Damien Hirst is one of the most prominent artist in the United Kingdom, and he created a lot of buzz when he unveiled his latest project earlier this year, “For the Love of God”.  The artwork is a platinum cast of a human skull, which is encrusted with 8,601 flawless (ethically sourced) diamonds.  The skull also features a pear-shaped pink diamond on the forehead.  The total cost of producing the artwork was £14 million.  The asking price for the piece is £ 50 million.  A t-shirt was created, which was available at the exhibition that ended July 7th.  No word if the shirt will be more widely available.
