Damien Hirst is one of the most prominent artist in the United Kingdom, and he created a lot of buzz when he unveiled his latest project earlier this year, “For the Love of God”. The artwork is a platinum cast of a human skull, which is encrusted with 8,601 flawless (ethically sourced) diamonds. The skull also features a pear-shaped pink diamond on the forehead. The total cost of producing the artwork was £14 million. The asking price for the piece is £ 50 million. A t-shirt was created, which was available at the exhibition that ended July 7th. No word if the shirt will be more widely available.

London based Oki-Ni.com, of receiving the launch of the Lacoste Raven 3 Hi this August. The sneakers feature mixing tumbled and metallic leather with suede and mockodile skin. Both colorways will have a limited release of a 100 pairs and will release this coming 7th of August.

London based Foot Patrol collaborated with New Balance to create these two pairs of NB M576s. You can pick up both the brown and black colorway at Hanon, which feature full grain leather, interchangeable laces, a set of N’s and a Foot Patrol leather key fob.

Following the Beijing Olympics London will be the next city of host the event in 2012 and unsurprisingly the preparation and sponsoring deals are already in full swing. Adidas has signed on as an official sponsor of the London Olympic Games. With the English based tennis tournament Wimbledon just getting started, Nike is unveiling sneakers and clothing for two of its stars Roger Federer and Maria Sharapova. Federer’s gear includes a jacket, sweater, warm-up trouser, and a luxury leather tennis bag. For Sharapova, Nike created a tennis dress and the Wimbledon Nike Blazer Mid Lux.
