Airwalk Terrain x Staple Design x Star Trek

Jeff Staple and his design company's relationship with Airwalk continues with the release of a Star Trek pack. True fans of the Star Trek franchise will automatically understand the colorways as based upon Starfleet issue uniforms. The Airwalk Terrain comes in Captain Kirk gold, engineering class red and Science class blue. Along with the colorway references the kicks feature the Star Trek delta shield on the heel tab and tongue with the shield also seen as a lace clip. Another strong creation from Staple Design.
Look for the collection at Reed Space and Payless. The gold version of the sneakers are available only online.

New Sneaker Releases:
This past Saturday Filipino boxer Manny Pacquio continued his dominance in the boxing ring defeating Puerto Rican boxer Miguel Cotto. Pacquiao's victory was not the only reason for his fans to celebrate as his Nike Trainer 1 "Lights Out" released on Saturday at select shops.
This weekend adidas Consortium continued its "Your City" collection with its second drop that includes the adidas Stockholm, adidas New York, adidas Milano and adidas Kopenhagen. Each sneaker has local legitimacy with name brand sneaker shops from their respective city creating their design.
Amsterdam based shop Patta continued to celebrate its 5th anniversary this week with the release of its second pair of Nike Air Max 1's. The first pair, which released last week came in purple denim and was Amsterdam exclusive. The pair that released this week received a wider distribution to shops with Nike Quickstrike accounts.

This week's biggest event in terms of sneaker previews was the unveiling of the Air Jordan 2010. Tinker Hatfield and Mark Smith of Nike and Jordan Brand introduced the Air Jordan 2010 in eight videos covering the different aspects of the sneakers design. This week we also got a look at two other colorways the Jordan Brand signature model, the Air Jordan 2010 "Silver Anniversary" and the Air Jordan 2010 "Wade".

Here are the latest Android Homme Propulsion Highs to surface at sneaker shops. The kicks are constructed in patent leather with straps in your choice of green or grey. The kicks are the latest in moon boot style sneakers to drop since they became a favorite after the Nike Air Yeezy hype. You can find these in Atlanta at Wish.

Yesterday we posted a detailed preview of the Air Jordan 8 Fusion in a mix of white with grey, black, and red accents. Today, we have a preview of another colorway of the sneaker, the Air Jordan 8 Fusion "Aqua". Look for the sneakers to release next year as part of the Jordan Brand Spring 2010 collection.

DJ AM Sneaker Collection Auction on Ebay | 15th November 2009

With Adam Goldstein, also known as DJ AM, passing away in August this year (we reported about it) the sneaker "community" has lost one of their big figures.
Now news have it that DJ AMs sneaker collection will be sold via an ebay auction, starting Sunday November 15th. All proceeds from the auction will go to the DJ AM Memorial fund which "maintains the legacy of Adam Goldstein and his commitment to helping others struggling with addiction.".
No word on if the collection will be put up as one auction or if the sneakers will be sold piece by piece.
The auction will be put up by DJ AM Memorial Fund.
Crepe City Sneaker Festival | London, 29th November

London sneaker enthusiasts stand up!
On November 29th the Crepe City Sneaker Festival will take place at Notting Hill Arts Club for the first time in London.
15 sellers will provide over 1000 pairs of sneakers containing hard to find items.
Since the entry is only 1GBP checking out this event is definitley worth the money.
