KangaROOS "Slam Dunk" x Sneakerness

American based sneaker brand Kangaroos known for producing sneakers with stash pouches has collaborated with Sneakerness to celebrate its 30th anniversary. The kicks were on display at Sneakerness Vienna, and now can be purchased at Berlin based Overkill. The kicks come in both white/red and black/white colorways.

Here is a preview of "Open The Box". A documentary about sneaker culture in Germany that is said to be released online next year.

The movie covers sneaker heads stories and interviews and of course contains footage of some very decent collections.

Hopefully we will see english subtitles when the movie finally releases by next year!

Converse Skateboarding x Thrasher | "Prevent This Tragedy"

Converse Skateboarding has released their collaborational collection of footwear and apperal with Thrasher.
The collection is influenced by Thrashers "Prevent This Tragedy" videos.

For the footwear part of the collection Converse and Thrasher picked the CTS Mid and Low.
The CTS Low is available two designs. One beeing black canvas on the upper with gum outsole while the other has a white sole and blue hits.
The CTS Mid also comes in black canvas but with lime green highlights. Another highlight on the mid is the "Prevent This Tragedy" print on the midsole.

All three pairs share Thrasher graphics on the inside of the shoe.

Ubiq eL x Mackdaddy | Flauge and eProze

Ubiq and Mackdaddy joined forces to create the eL model in two different colorways for ZoZoTown.

The first sneaker, which is dedicated to eProze, has a grey upper with white sidepanel featuring blue stripes and a blue/grey belt-like strap around the ankle.
The second one is dedicated to Flauge and comes with the brown upper and turquoise sidepanel and white stripes. Here the belt-like strap is brown leather.

They are available now at Flauge and eProze.

Lakai Pico / Guy Hi x Where the Wild Things Are

Where the Wild Things Are was first published as a children's picture. The book was adapted into a film by Spike Jonze who is known for his unique vision.

The book has now gone from film to sneaker as skate brand Lakai has created a pack inspired by the film. The pack includes the Lakai Pico and Guy Hi, both built in grey suede and canvas with Where the Wild Things Are graphics.

You can pick up both sneakers at shops that carry Lakai, such as UK based Flatspot.
