The pigeon has once again inspired New York based designer Jeff Staple. Like the last pigeon sneaker, Staple has chosen the New Balance 575 as his sneaker of choice. The kicks come in a white and beige sneaker with grey and pink accents. We will keep you posted on a concrete release date when the information becomes available, however expect these to release in August. Hong Kong based Mentalkicks has a pair available now.
Jeff Staple’s iconic “Pigeon” design that is inspired by an urban mainstay from the world over. The New Balance 575 is again the silhouette of choice for the Pigeon design though this time the sneakers come in a white and beige colorway with grey and pink accents. The sneakers are expected to release in August.
Distribution of the New Balance 574 will soon be limited to shops chosen by New Balance for “quality” and given the name 574 Location.
The 574 Fall 2009 collection includes four classic colorways including grey / navy, grey, black / grey, and navy.
The collection also includes limited colorways that will release bi-montly until December. Just released this month is the New Balance 574 in a burgundy and grey colorway. Look after the jump to see upcoming colorways.
Twenty years ago in 1989 the Berlin Wall fell and the city of Berlin and Germany as a whole reunited. Berlin based sneaker shop Overkill as part of the New Balance SMU Project has designed three sneakers to mark the event. Information is sparse about the sneakers however we do know that the kicks will release in November 2009. We will keep you posted when more information becomes available.
Solebox’s love affair with the New Balance 1500 continues with a pack of two of the sneakers. The pairs share a gum sole, a heel in nubuck, with a leather lining. In terms of color construction both come in grey, black and white, while the heel is what separates the two with one in green and the other maroon.
Solebox claims these are their final work on the New Balance 1500, and have thus have dubbed them the “Finals.”
The green version will release globally on the 22nd of August while the maroon pair will release only in Berlin at Solebox with only 350 pairs available.
