Knowing that the colder days of the year will come rather sooner than later New Balance drops a womens winterboot now.

The New Balance CW996 HB Winterboot comes in a hi cut silhouette in a rugged suede and fur upper. With its cross stitchings paired with the silhouette and materials used, the boots have that native amrican / inuit feel.

Especially the fur socklinger should keep womens feet warm this winter.

They are available in Hunny Brown or Purple at select New Balance dealers including atmos.

Who needs laces or Velcro Straps?

Actually the New Balance A19 do not need them at all. The sneaker is released in three colorways including black/white, brown and purple. Especially the purple design stings the eye because of the turquoise accents on the side panel and ankle as well as black on the toe box.

As of materials New Balance chose woven Nylon for the upper and a wool sockliner for comfort ankle padding.

Now available at select New Balance accounts such as atmos.

New Balance jumps on the moccasin trend with the announcement of the A20 HB.

The hi-top model comes in a more rugged design with a suede upper on white sole. Crisscross stitchings around the toebox and at the ankle are key to creating the sneakers moccasin look. Native American influenced components on the tongue and heel add to the kicks charm. Also the embossed New Balance at the ankle blends in perfect to the shoes composition.

There are both a brown and a blue version of this sneaker, both of which will be available in early October 2009 at atmos.

New Balance H574J | Fall 2009

New Balance will release their new H574J hiking style model in two colorways this fall.

The kicks are made of suede and breathable mesh and come in both black/turqoise/yellow or black/purple/pink. Each pair has nice accents, which include the speckled area at the midsole as well as the padded ankle collar in either yellow or purple.

The H574J is a hiking-style variation of the popular 574 model.

Both models are now on pre-order at tokyo based atmos. The official release is scheduled for October ‘09.

New Balance CW996M | Fall 2009 Color Pack

New Balance has just released their CW996M model in five new popping colorways for fall.

They are available in your choice of purple, yellow, silver, pink and turqoise. All of them feature an upper composed of suede and leather with the N in patent leather.

With this release New Balance is bucking the trend of releasing only pastelle or shades of grey colorways for Fall 2009 season.

You can grab them now at mischief and select New Balance retailers.

New Balance 1500 x Solebox

With the 6th and possibly last New Balance 1500 x Solebox edition set to release on the 22nd of August, laced has posted a retrospective on the collaborative series.

Have a look at Laced, which chronicles the first New Balance 1500 x Solebox, which released in 2005 with a 150 pair distribution.

The New Balance 1500 x Solebox “Finals” is set to release in limited numbers on the 22nd of August at Solebox and select sneaker shops.

New Balance 996 x Frapbois

Japanese label Frapbois has hooked up with New Balance to create a pair of the 996. The kicks come in white and black colorway with silver and red accents. Of course the the most obvious design element are the polka dots on the toe-box and heel. The kicks have sold out at Japanese based zozotown, but keep an eye out for the kicks.
