New Balance U455 IC | Black/Grey/Beige
Friday, September 25th, 2009 | Posted in New Balance
Back in 1979 the New Balance U455 was the state of the art running shoe. Now, thirty years later, the sneaker is re-released for vintage sneaker enthusiasts and fans.
It has a black synthetic (neoprem like) upper with grey suede panneling. Beige suede contrasts the shoe on the N-logo and at the back.
The orange tongue tag and panel at the back add more flavor to the kicks and harmonizes a lot with the aquamarine sock liner.
They are available now at select New Balance accounts like TGWO.
New Balance MT576S Bamboo Rake | NB x Frat x Mita
Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009 | Posted in New Balance
The New Balance MT576S combines best of both worlds - the 576 upper and MT580 sole.
To some of you, the Frat x Mita collaborational sneaker seems to nothing new. Indeed the MT576S Bamboo Rake was already released back in April this year.
But this time slight changes to the sneakers "outfit" were made. The April release Bamboo Rake had a multicolored graphics tongue, while the actual release comes with straight black/white Skull and Bone graphics.
Also on the upper we find slight differences: The first release had a white glow in dark upper. Now the shoes come in white bamboo structured synthetics and grey nubuck. At the back you will find rope graphics on a darker shade of grey colored leather.
The sock liner is colored violet. With the yellow inner sole plus the splatter at the midsole some additional pop was added.
They are now available at MITA and FLAUGE.
