American based footwear label Gourmet has just released four sneakers from its holiday 2009 collection. Among the sneakers in the collection are the Gourmet Otto in a royal velvet build, the Nove in grey pig skin, the Tredici in black "American Made" pony hair and the Quattro in golden brown full grain leather. Gourmet's online shop has the four kicks now available for purchase.
Although using pony hair on sneakers is not as unique as it once was, the material still provides a stylistic punch. Gourmet has incorporated the material in its Spring 2010 collection. The premium sneaker brand also has a number of other interesting progressive styles in the pipeline. Check after the jump to get a look.

Rapper Young Jeezy is featured on the cover current issue of Complex magazine. In the featured section, Jeezy is rocking a new model from Gourmet, the Diecisette. The kicks are part of the Gourmet Spring 2010 collection. We will keep you posted when more information becomes available.

Here is a close look at the Gourmet Cinque, which is part of the Gourmet Footwear fall 2009 collection. The kicks come in two color combinations with one in olive and the other in papyrus. In terms of constructions the kicks come in full grain suede and an insole composed of pigskin leather with the upper sitting on a memory foam deck sole.
