We recently spread the word that famed sneaker shop Undefeated collaborated with toy maker Bearbrick and Converse. Word has dropped that the set which includes a 100% and 400% Bearbrick along with a Converse Chuck Taylor and a matchng t-shirt, is set to release on the 5th of April 2008.

The iconic rocker Kurt Cobain is being honored with a collection of Converse sneakers. The collection includes pairs of Converse One Star, Jack Purcell and Chuck Taylor All-Stars. The kicks have distressed look and some of the most interesting sneakers in the pack feature the sketches and lyrics (Come As You Are) Cobain wrote in this sketchbook. The kicks will be available at select shops in May for prices ranging from $50 - $65.

Los Angeles sneaker shop Undefeated, Converse, and Medicom Toys has collaborated on a pack. The pack includes two Bearbricks in 100% and 400% sizes. Also in the Pack is a pair of All-Star Converse. No word on a release date for the kicks but the toys will release next month.

As part of Product Red’s collaboration with converse, the company has recruited different artists to create sneakers for the collabo. The latest recruit is Hiroshi Fujiwara who designed this all red upper Converse Chuck Taylor Low with his Fragment Symbol on the back. The kicks are set to hit sneaker shops on the 1st of March and will go for $72.

Converse has conceived two new styles for the Chuck Taylor All-Star including a pair with thermal material and another using a checkered pattern. Both styles are releasing High and Low in different colors. Check your local sneaker shops for release and availability information.

Converse teamed up with artist Scott Patt to produce this colorful pair of Chucks. The kicks have been dubbed the “100 Ripples of Hope” and are part of the (Product) Red campaign, which seeks to help victims of the HIV and AIDS epidemic in Africa. The kicks should make their way to select sneaker shops this month and can be purchased for $55.

Converse is celebrating a 100 years of producing kicks and to mark such an important moment it is releasing to rare treats from its catalog. These are the Converse Jack Purcell Racearound produced in 1973 based upon sports cars. The kicks feature a mix of smooth and pebble pigskin leather and are currently available at Japanese shop Flauge.

Converse is celebrating its 100th anniversary of making iconic footwear. To mark the milestone converse will be releasing select models from its historical catalog of sneakers from the period 1922 to 1999. The kicks will be packaged in a special blue box created for the anniversary collection. The collection is set to release this month December 2007 and will go until March 2008. The Converse All Star x Fragment recently released in both a high and low top. Hiroshi Fujiwara designed the kicks. As of the time of this post there are two pairs of the high tops available at the Paris based online shop Sold Out and the low tops have sold out.
Fans of the iconic punk band the Ramones take note; Converse just released the All Star Hi Red Ramones Edition. The kicks definitely have pre-worn second hand vintage feel with yellowed sole and ripped upper material. The kicks are composed of grey denim and feature Ramones badge on the side “Hey Ho, Let’s Go!”. You can pick the sneakers up at Overkill.
