Last year Benny Gold released the “Dough Boy” fitted cap. The kicks feature an Old English fusion of the letter D and B a nod to Ice Cube’s character Dough Boy in the early 90’s classic Boyz in the Hood.

The latest collection of the fitted cap comes in three new colors with buffalo plaid lining. The caps are set to release as part of the Benny Gold fall / winter 2009 collection.

Benny Gold known for hooking up Nike designs and fitted caps has a new cap that is out. The cap, which features a a mix of Old English letters D and, which stand for Dough Boy. Of corse the cap is inspired by Dough Boy who was played by Ice Cube in the film Boyz in the Hood. The cap is a hot item available in shops that carry heat such as Standard.

The concept for the Nike LD1000 Collection is vintage. The LD1000 is a Nike running shoe, which first released back in 1976. At the time the kicks were technology sound with a build designed to withstand the beating a long distance runner would inflict on a pair of shoes. The updated version is going for looks with a look, which mimics how a pair of the shoes would look if they were untouched in the box for the past few decades. The kicks not only offer style but also comfort with Zoom Air in the heel. The collection, which includes three colorways, matching t-shirts, and a cap is now available at select sneaker shops.

Nike keeps pushing out products under its new line of gear and sneakers known as the Tech Pack. This latest installment includes a leather varsity jacket and a leather fitted cap. Both items feature matching black and brown leather. Along with the gear, Nike is releasing a pair of Air Max 90 x 360 in premium leather with the same black and brown colors seen on the cap and jacket. San Francisco based sneaker shop Huf is known for their fitted caps and their collaborations with Nike. As many of you know Huf has collaborated with Nike to produce the Air Max Hufquake pack which features a pair of Air Max 90 and Air Max 1 with a cracked print. La Copploa Storta produces hand crafted caps in Palermo Sicily, and sells its products at several of its stores in Italy and one location in New York City. The fashion brand recently collaborated with Hip Hop artist Common which is fitting because Common is usually sporting a Kangol. Nike SB x Cliché

Nike SB is collaborating with the French skateboard company Cliché to produce a pair of dunk SB’s as well as a line of gear. The Nike SB’s and the gear will be available in January 2007 to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Cliché. A DVD will also be available the chronicles the 10 year history of Cliché. All products in the line will be limited.

The shoe is made out of high quality black nubuck on a gum sole, features laser cut skull pattern on side pieces, black corduroy swoosh and inside lining.

To commemorate its 7th anniversary the Japanese shop SWAGGER threw a party in Tokyo with special guest Ghostface Killah of the Wu-Tang Clan.� SWAGGER has also produced some commemorative gear like the gold foil Ghostface Killah t-shirt and a Wu-Tang Clan New Era Cap.� The t-shirt comes in two colorways however the gold foil edition is only available at the main SWAGGER shop.
