The Asics Gel Lytes created by Dutch sneaker shop Patta, were hot product early this year. Now Asics has given New York City based shop David Z a shoot at designing their very own Gel Lytes. The sneakers will have a limited release with only 252 of each sneaker up for sale. The sneaker on the left will release the 15th of may 2007, with the other two dropping the 1st of July at a retail price of $90.

Asics has a design competition up and running which apparently is wide open to what ever direction your creative mind chooses to go in. One key restriction, which will disqualify many of you, one must be living in a European country to enter the competition. Deadline to enter the competition is the 29th of June 2007.
