The Adidas "Sounds of the City" collection has already honored such musical cities as Kingston, Jamaica. Adidas is at it again this time not only paying tribute to one great Hip-Hop locale, Queens, New York but also to one of its native sons, the late great Jam Master Jay of Run DMC. Here we have a look at some of the apparel that is coming from the collection including track jacket, t-shirts and polo. The collection is also said to include footwear.

Adidas TS Lightswitch Gil x Halo – 8th of February

Adidas is continuing with their Gilbert Arenas series of limited kicks with a pair inspired by the popular Halo video game. Arenas is said to be a huge fan of the game, which is the reason for the inspiration. The Adidas TS Lightswitch Gil x Halo launches on the 8th of February against the Denver Nuggets. The kicks have limited production run of only a 100 pairs available globally at a $110 price tag.
Adidas “Philly Blunt” Superstar

Adidas is paying tribute the Philly Blunt, which has held a special place in Hip-Hop lyrics. The Adidas Superstar use a red similar to that used on the cigars packaging along with brown leather, which mimics the look of cigar paper. No word on a release date or availability at this point.

Adidas Skateboarding Spring 2008 Lineup

Here is a look at some of what Adidas Skateboarding has in its Spring 2008 lineup. Three sneakers are here to see with each designed by known artists. Joe Castrucci designed the Adidas Campus Vulcanized "Habitat Edition" with nature elements dominating the design.
The Adidas Roster Mid "Tim O’Connor Edition" was designed by O’Connor.
Pommier designed the Adidas Superstar Vulcanized "Andrew Pommier Edition".
