The year that Big Daddy Kane released "Ain't No Half Stepin" is the same year that adidas released the ZX 8000. Coincidence? No. The classic adidas runner is the perfect piece of footwear to keep your foot in full step with the Torison support system.

adidas is taking us back to '88 with the release of the ZX 8000 in its original colorway. The kicks blend an aqua blue base with yellow and purple accents. On Halloween the sneaker released at 160 shops in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. In Dusseldorf you can find them at Schuh You.

adidas Centennial Low | NBA Western Conference Pack

Official NBA sponsor adidas has created a pack of five adidas Centennial Lows to mark the beginning of the NBA season. The five colorways are based on teams that compete in the Western Conference.

The colorways are inspired by classic team colors, so the Los Angeles Lakers pair comes in blue and white the original Lakers colors. Other teams included in the pack are the Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets, and the Denver Nuggets. The sneakers are now available at adidas Originals shops Stateside.

The Los Angeles Lakers were this year crowned NBA champions of the 2008-2009 season. As champions the Lakers have inspired a pair of adidas Superstars. The kicks are majestic, and come in metallic gold upper with purple and yellow accents. The Lakers logo can be seen on the tongue, side panel and insole that also bears the number 15, which is the number of times the Lakers have won the NBA title. The adidas Forum has just released in a color combo reminiscent of the Hip Hop super crew, Wu-Tang Clan. The kicks come in a leather build with black and yellow balancing out the upper. The kicks are unofficially Wu inspired but nonetheless represent the Staten Island MC collective.

Jeremy Scott has transformed the adidas Attitude, giving the sneakers wings, three tongues, and a long tongue. The 80's basketball sneaker has now released in classic form, this time in leather with a cream snakeskin embossed print and white and navy elements. The sneakers are now available in Tasmania at Grip.

The next release from the adidas Five Two 3 series is a city pack. Tokyo is among the selected cities to take part in the project. Japanese artist Madsaki is the man behind Tokyo's entry. He selected the Samba as his sneaker of choice because its significance to the NYC cycling scene, which he took part in as a Messenger.

The kicks upper comes with lace flap in a build constructed in black sea snake skin treated to be waterproof. The insole also offers anti-bacterial and odor resistant materials. The sneakers are now available in Toulouse at Rice & Beans for 120 euros.
