Adidas has collaborated with Upper Playground to produce a pack set to release in the summer. The pack, which is entitled “You Ain’t Gotta Lie to Kick it” features four kicks released in two sets. The first two kicks include an Adidas Stan Smith designed by Hip-Hop artist Aesop Rock and an Adidas Metro Attitude by Sam Flores. We will drop more info on availability as it comes.

The UEFA European Football Championship will take place this summer in two host countries Austria and Switzerland. Adidas has created a set of two Gazelle II’s to support the German team’s role in the tournament. One of the sneakers will pay tribute to the West German team that won the Championship in 1980 and the other will represent the 2008 team.
Originally released under the name Olympiade the Adidas Training 72 was then released as for athletes and coaches at the 1972 Summer Olympic Games in Munich. The kicks have just released in the in replication of their 72 games version in leather and nubuck materials. You can pick them up at Hanon.

Easter is one of the holidays which sneaker companies continually draw inspiration from to create sneakers. Here is Adidas Easter sneaker for 2008, an Adidas Gazelle in blue, pink and yellow. You can pick them up at Sold Out for 80 euros.

China’s first year in competition in the Olympic games was in the summer of 1984 in Los Angeles. That year the Chinese Women’s Football (soccer) team won gold. With China hosting the big event this year Adidas is commemorating the Chinese Women’s Soccer team with a pair of Adidas Indoor Super. The Cartoon character on the kicks is from a TV special that honored the football team.
