Adidas Rod Laver x Solebox | Consortium Series

Last we showed you of a teaser of an adidas and Solebox collaboration. Today we have a look at the sneaker in whole. As it turns out the sneaker is the second part of the adidas Rod Laver Consortium series.

The Solebox contribution to the series comes in a majority tan suede construction with a synthetic suede inner lining burgundy. The tongue comes in burgundy mesh with the heel in 3M reflective silver. Another interesting design element is the boot like top metal eyelet.

The kicks will release on the 18th of September for 80 euros at Solebox and other fine sneaker shops.

adidas Tokio Lo Gore-Tex

adidas is set to release two colorways of its 1964 runner the adidas Tokio Lo. Last week we posted images of the adidas Tokio in a black and red colorway. Today we have a look at the second colorway that meshes grey, black with several shades of blue. The kicks are constructed in Gore-Tex giving the sneakers the ability to resist moisture as the wet months will soon be upon us. When the sneaker does release you can find it at End.

adidas Originals x Qubic

Auckland New Zealand based sneaker shop Qubic was given the opportunity to take part in the adidas Originals by Originals project. Frank Liew, owner of Qubic recruited four other sneaker head who with created their own version of their chosen adidas vintage model. Sneaker Freaker editor Woody took part in the collection along with Kevin Downie, Chris Lewis, Sean Aickin. In the mix are three ZX 700’s, one Gazelle, and Forum Low.

Note: These are not scheduled to release, rather they are for show. It may be that adidas might release a limited run of the kicks if demand is strong online.

adidas Superstar x Mountain Dew "Green Label"

Hyper Caffeinated soda Mountain Dew has produced the Green Label Art collection. The Dew recruited a number of artist to lay their hand at product design, including the cans.

Nathan Cabrera styled the adidas Superstar and Claw Money designed a New Era fitted cap.

Also in the mix are a pair of WESC headphones by Pushead and UPSO x G-Shock DW-6900.

adidas Five-Two 3 "Art" Pack

The adidas Five-Two 3 collection is a continuing series of releases of classic adidas models created using a given theme. The series was created to mark the 60th anniversary of the adidas trademark.

The latest Five-Two 3 collection features the typical five classic models including the adidas Samba, adidas Superstar, adidas Stan Smith, adidas Forum and adidas Nizza.

The pack is themed around various art mediums including the Samba in a sketched look. The adidas Superstar Track Top is also included in the pack.

Mighty Healthy x adidas Street Jam & Lux

New York City based brand Mighty Healthy has hooked up with adidas Performance to create a collection of footwear and apparel. In the mix are the adidas Street Jam in an army green, black, and orange colorway and the adidas Lux in a white, ligh-tan, and maroon colorway. After the jump you can also have a look at co-branded apparel.

The is set to release as part of both brand’s spring 2010 collection.

Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Fall 2009 | Video

If you like the flamboyant style of Jeremy Scott then you probably already have picked some kicks or apparel from his adidas Originals by Originals Fall 2009 collection. For the collection Scott used symbols and colors that are commonly associated with Africa. Video director Nabil Elderkin, who has worked with both Common and Kanye, took on this concept to show off the collection. Check out the video.
