adidas Stan Smith 80 x KRSN | Five-Two 3

The adidas Originals Five-Two 3 collection over the summer released a collection of sneakers from well known international labels.

The next direction for the sneakers is a collaborative collection with international group of artist.

French artist KRSN has contributed a pair of adidas Stan Smith 80 to the collection. He styled the sneaker in a deep shade of blue nubuck with gold fleur-de-lis and other images printed in different sizes on the upper.

The sneaker is now available at select sneaker shops including Sneakers N’ Stuff.

adidas Originals "Plants" Pack x Kazuki x Makoto Azuma

Japanese designer Kazuki has placed himself as a key figure at adidas with his work on his own adidas Originals by Originals collection and his work on the Madsaki adidas Samba.

Kazuki has now teamed up with Makoto Azuma to created the Plants pack, which is part of the adidas Originals Five-Two 3. The pack includes the adidas Samba, adidas Forum Mid, adidas Superstar, adidas Stan Smith and the adidas Nizza High.

The kicks are minimalist, in white uppers with brown outsoles that represent the dirt and the insole is green representing plant life. Each sneaker’s tongue features the adidas trefoil logo in green, which extends down as a leafy stem.

The kicks are expect to release this month.

adidas Consortium "Your City" | Drop 2 / Preview

During the 1970’s and 1980’s adidas created a large catalog of sneakers named after cities around the world. adidas Originals has now created the Consortium “Your City” collection, breathing fresh life to these classic models.
adidas has recruited sneaker shops from respective cities to style the kicks giving them local legitimacy.

The first round of releases from the adidas Consortium “Your City” collection dropped in mid October. That collection included the adidas Oslo x Sole Service, adidas LA Trainer x Undefeated, adidas Berlin x Solebox, and the adidas Boston x Bodega.

This time around the selected models and cities include New York, Milan, Stockholm and Copenhagen.

adidas Milano x Slam Jam

Italy’s world renowned sneaker shop Slam Jam is based in Milan, and has thus been given the task of styling the adidas Milano. The kicks feature a vibrant shade of blue covering most of sneaker in nylon. The three stripes on the side panel come in lime green leather giving the sneaker a more daring look. The tongue and eyelet areas are built in crinkle patent leather. The tongue also is branded Slam Jam. The sneakers side panel branding reads Milano and Slam Jam in gold.

adidas Stockholm x Sneakers N’ Stuff

Yesterday we previewed the adidas Stockholm x Sneakers N’ Stuff. Today we have a closer look at the sneaker. The sneaker is built in grey overbrushed suede with touches of yellow on the tongue and blue leather on the heel and stripes, which all rests on a gum sole. The sneakers heel features SNS branding and the gold foil on the side panel reads both Stockholm and Sneakers N’ Stuff.

The original adidas Stockholm came in a blue and yellow colorway inspired by the Swedish flag. The blue and yellow are retained on the sneakers however as secondary elements. The sneakers base comes in grey, which is inspired by the cloudy winter Stockholm sky.

adidas Kopenhagen x Norse Projects

Copenhagen based shop Norse Projects profile has risen this year with their collaboration with New Balance. The shop has now been given the job of styling the adidas Kopenhagen.

The sneakers upper is colored primarily in navy blue except for yellow on the top metal eyelet and heel tab. In terms of build the sneakers are constructed in leather except for lacestays, stripes, and toe, which are made of suede. The side panel like the rest of sneakers in the collection reads Kopenhagen and Norse Projects.

adidas New York x Dave’s Quality Meats

New York based DQM, which is a frequent adidas collaborator has given the undertaking of styling the adidas New York. The runner, which first surfaced in the 1980’s comes in shades of black, referencing the New York blackouts. The sneakers most distinctive feature can be seen on the top four eyelets are brass d-rings, giving the kicks boot look. “New York” and “DQM” are embossed on the sneakers stripes.

adidas Stockholm x Sneakers N' Stuff

In the middle of October, the first drop from the adidas Consortium “Your City” collection released, which included Los Angeles, Boston, Oslo, and Berlin.

Today, we have a look at a sneaker from the second drop from the “Your City” collection. Stockholm based shop Sneakers N’ Stuff has styled the adidas Stockholm. The staff at SNS drew their inspiration from the somber grey sky of Stockholm in winter which also bleeds patches of yellow sun and blue sky. We will keep you posted when the sneakers release.

Here is a look at the fifth and final sneaker from the adidas Originals by Originals 2099 Fall / Winter 2009 collection. The Fifth sneaker is the adidas Honey Low, which comes in creamy white colorway with Fafi’s signature subtly placed all over the upper and the tongue over the adidas logo. adidas ZX 8000 | Original Colorway 2009 Retro

The year that Big Daddy Kane released “Ain’t No Half Stepin” is the same year that adidas released the ZX 8000. Coincidence? No. The classic adidas runner is the perfect piece of footwear to keep your foot in full step with the Torison support system.

adidas is taking us back to ‘88 with the release of the ZX 8000 in its original colorway. The kicks blend an aqua blue base with yellow and purple accents. On Halloween the sneaker released at 160 shops in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. In Dusseldorf you can find them at Schuh You.

adidas Centennial Low | NBA Western Conference Pack

Official NBA sponsor adidas has created a pack of five adidas Centennial Lows to mark the beginning of the NBA season. The five colorways are based on teams that compete in the Western Conference.

The colorways are inspired by classic team colors, so the Los Angeles Lakers pair comes in blue and white the original Lakers colors. Other teams included in the pack are the Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets, and the Denver Nuggets. The sneakers are now available at adidas Originals shops Stateside.
