Courtesy of Kenlu.net, we get a look at the sights from the media presentation and the public unveiling of the Air Jordan XX8. On hand for the event were many Jordan affiliated folks from Spike Lee to designer Tinker Hatfieild and Jordan Brand team members Carmelo and Russell Westbrook who was in town for a match against the Brooklyn Nets.
On site at the event were retrospective displays of Air Jordan sneakers in black on black and white on white looks.
The shoe has prompted head scratching from an aesthetic perspective but the sneaker is foremost targeted at performance with style as an afterthought. Style does come into play as Hatfield has translated his Special Forces Boot to a basketball medium.
