Kicking off October, Jordan Brand is referencing the Johnny Kilroy Commercial with two colorways of the Air Jordan 9 Retro. This Saturday will see the release of the Air Jordan IX Retro “Johnny Kilroy” inspired by the star of the commercial with "4" on the heel.
Then on the following Saturday (13th of October), the "Fontay Montana" colorway will drop. Fontay was one of the many Jordan-esque ballers shown in the commercial. Unlike Kilroy who played for the Bulls, Montana played for "The Gulls" and the sneaker comes in the team's colors (pure platinum, game royal and orange). The detailing includes the Gulls logo on the inner lining and Montana's 23 on the heel. Jordan Brand dealers like Concepts will carry the sneaker.
