Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke "Space Jam" x Bun B

The Air Jordan 11 Space Jam is roughly six weeks away from officially releasing as a Jordan Brand quickstrike. Such an iconic release has the tendency of inspiring artists to create. Among the inspired is Texas based rapper Bun B who recently visited the Air Force 1 Bespoke studio at 21 Mercer in NYC, where he created with the mythic Air Jordan in mind.

The sneaker is built on a clear icy outsole with a black upper constructed in patent leather on the toe and heel tab while mesh dominates the rest of the sneaker. The sneakers black upper is minimally accented by blue on the heel tab and the lace loop.

Nike x Doernbecher | Freestyle 2009 Collection

Every year Nike gets together with the Doernbecher Hospital for Kids in order to let these kids put their hands on selected Nike models and design them the way they want.

We have already had the Air Jordan VI (6) in its Doernbecher design on the site earlier. Now we can share the other models of the Freestyle 2009 collection with you.
There will be a Air Force I, Dunk High, Air Max Zenyth, P-Rod III and Shox NX available alongside the already bespoke Air jordan VI (6).

They will be sold through Niketown and Nikestore by mid of November.

Keep in mind that all proceeds from the Nike Doernbecher Freestyle Collection sales benefit Doernbecher projects!

Inside Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke: Elephant Print

This week we continue our look at the construction of the high class Nike Bespoke Air Force 1. Last week we had a look at the sole of the sneaker, this week we have a look at the upper. Since the Air Jordan 3, the elephant print has been a sought after design element on kicks. With Bespoke you have many options for the elephant print in terms of color, some classic some new. You can go buckwild with the print or keep it simple, if you want to go buck, check out this all-over multi-colored use of the element on the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Bespoke” by Makoto.

Sadly, if you are not in NYC you will have to travel to the big apple to the Bespoke Studio at 21 Mercer, to create your own pair of elephant print kicks.

The top tier Nike iD experience is the Air Force 1 Bespoke, which allows for almost complete customization. The design process starts at the sole where their are choices that will fit any design you have in mind from a clear to a gum sole, and just about any color or combination.

Here is another Nike iD Bespoke Air Force 1. The kicks combine earthtones colors ranging from clay orange, red and yellow. The material used comes in suede, canvas, distressed leather, and denim. The Air Force 1's sit on a translucent midsole that sits on a gum sole.

Nike Air Force 1 MX iD / "Black Magic Patent" New Material

Nike has a three tier system for customization of the Air Force 1, there is a basic and widely available Nike iD. The second level is the Air Force 1 MX iD, featuring an Air Max sole and wider range of options for customization. The third is Nike Bespoke with no limits.

Nike has just announced a new material for the Nike Air Force 1 MX iD. The new material has been dubbed "Black Magic Patent", which is features dual tone properties that really come to light after they have been worn.

The Air Force One MX iD can only be customized at Nike Sportswear Tokyo, Niketown London, and Nike Sportswear NYC at 21 Mercer.
