The DIY movement in the art scene is being chronicled in the film Beautiful Losers. Nike Sportswear has created a collection of Dunk Highs using high resolution stills from the film to wrap on the kicks. The kicks will not see a retail release but rather will be available only through auction.

Here is a look at the Nike SB August 2008 sneaker collection for the United States. Included in the mix for this month are the much anticipated Nike SB P-Rod 2 High aka “J-Rod” which comes in an Air Jordan inspired design. Also the Nike SB Dunk High “Un Futura” is part of the collection along with pairs of Nike SB Classic, Blazer High, Dunk Mid Pro, Zoom Air Harbor, and P-Rod 2. Check your local sneaker shop for availability.

This coming friday the 8th of August 2008 is a huge launch date for Nike sneakers. Among the kicks releasing on that date are 5 Nike Dunk Highs which comprise the Nike Dunk High “One Piece” Pack. Each colorway is limited to a 336 pairs around the globe. In Los Angeles you can pick up the kicks at UNDFTD. In Paris you can pick the kicks up at the Nike Sportswear Pop Up Store “Péniche Nike Sportswear ‘1924′” on a barge. You can find the Pop Up Shop at Port Henri IV which is under Le Quai Henri IV. You can get there on the Metro and stop at Quai de la Rapee or Sully Morland.

The 8th of August 2008 is a big day for Nike releases. One of the kicks which will release is the Nike Air Max 1 which comes in perforated leather with colors based on Olympic medals. Among the sneaker shops getting in the kicks is Nort Berlin.

The New Balance 575 “Pigeon” designed by Jeff Staple comes will hit France on the 6th of August exclusively at the Mini Colette in Paris. The kicks will release globally at limited number of sneaker shops with only 650 pairs available.

EA Sports NFL football game franchise Madden is turing 20 this year and Reebok has the honor of making the kicks for the occasion. The Reebok Recline PH is the chosen sneaker for the project which features box covers from the series along with x’s and o’s. No word on a release or availability.
