Nike SB Dunk not “Bloody Sunday”
Update:
It has come to our attention that the Nike Dunk SB featuring red velvet and black leather does not in fact have any connection with the band U2, their song Bloody Sunday or many tragic historic events, which have been dubbed Bloody Sunday. We here at EUKicks reported the information and now we are retracting it. We would like to apologize to anyone was offended by our coverage of the sneaker.
Please refer to the following links to find out more information about the response of Nike to the naming of the sneaker.

In the next couple of months Nike SB will be coming out with the Dunk SB with a theme based upon the classic U2 Song Bloody Sunday. The kicks feature red velvet and patent leather materials.

Hi everyone,
I am the PR Manager for Nike UK and was forwarded this to me by a friend.
This story is incorrect. The shoe above exists but it is not called the ‘Bloody Sunday’ shoe, or any name relating to either U2 or the events of Bloody Sunday.
Once it is released our SB team will confirm the inspiration behind the design.
Cheers

Hey, know it all, could I get a picture of the shoe box with the shoes. Specifically, I need a picture of the portion which says bloody sunday. If you don’t mind doing this I can set up a temporary email address, post it, and you could upload and send me the pic. I’ll love you forever.
