Nike Football Store

Nike has opened a store specializing in football gear, a first for the company. The store located in the heart of the commercial district in Amsterdam. “The Nike Football Store” will feature football related equipment, gear, shoes, and clothing. The move to open the store is undoubtedly to capitalize upon hype surrounding the football World Cup in Germany latter on this year. I will be in Amsterdam in mid April so hopefully I will then be able to write a proper review of the store including pictures. Check back for more info.

Sneakers in Avignon

Walking around the city of Avignon France I ran into a sneaker shop called Canon Shoes ( Canon a french slang term for beautiful). Canon shoes is located on the major city square Place de l’Horloge the shop had a large collection of Adidas, Pumas and Nikes… including these kicks.

FootLocker Bordeaux

The Footlocker in Bordeaux can be found on rue Port Dijeaux about 75 feet from the major city square Place Gambetta. The service at the location is up to US standards for the franchise: horrible. I found the staff to be unresponsive and rude. If you want good service I would suggest going to the smaller sneaker shops on rue Sainte Catherine. However you will not find the amazing selection that footlocker provides. Whether you are looking for Jordan’s, AF1’s, limited kicks as well as Adidas, Pumas and Reeboks. The most impressive aspect of the store is its huge selection of Nike Max Plus product…many of it exclusive to Footlocker. Unfortunately the sales people did allow me to take pictures of the shoes…so you will have to use your imagination.
Rare Jordans in France

Air Jordan Kicks do not have the same level of popularity in France as in the US, there is only a small percentage of French who wear and collect the shoes, mainly hip-hop and basketball fans. So it can be very easy to get your hands on limited Jordan’s in France. While traveling though Southern France I found a shop that was selling Jordan IV’s, XII’s, XIII’s and VII’s. Here are some pics at what I found. Pay close attention to the prices, they are extremely cheap.
